RoF Retrospectives: Updated

by Editor Douglas Cohen on February 5, 2010

So as many of you reading this on my livejournal know, when I first started writing these retrospectives, my title with RoF was assistant editor, meaning I wasn’t handling the nonfiction and art departments.  So at the time, I wasn’t  really discussing the nonfiction or the art too much when I posted a new retrospective.  When I did start handling these departments, I took steps to rectify this, as I started incorporating these departments into the retrospectives.  I’ll continue to do that, but for those interested in the retrospective series, I wanted to mention that I’ve now managed to go back and include something about the art and nonfiction in all of the older retrospectives going back to the very first issue.  So in this respect, the retrospective series is up to date.  However, I still have nineteen retrospectives (and counting) to write, so I’m not out of the woods yet.  Still, it took a while to go back and fill in all of this missing information, so it’s nice to have this monkey off my back!

When we reach the point in the retrospectives where I’m handling the art and nonfiction for the magazine, I expect I’ll have some more interesting insights about these departments to share with you all.

Also, for those reading this post on the RoF website, I’ll mention that many of the missing retrospectives should be added to that section in the very near future.
