Hi All,
So another crucial puzzle piece has fallen into place as we get Realms of Fantasy back on track. Shawna has done a buying run and joyful authors should be reading the news as I write this. The following stories are the first to be bought in this, The Third Age of Realms of Fantasy, the age that the scholars shall remember as the Age of Damnation, as we begin our run under publisher Damnation Books:

“Tides of the Heart” by David Levine
R.W., Thea, Mark, and Pauline will all be appearing in the magazine for the first time. Thea and Mark are both authors that I plucked from the slush, so all you slush hopefuls out there take note that we continue to publish up and coming authors. I also get to celebrate a nice milestone-y achievement as I’ve now plucked my 30th story from the slush that’s been accepted by the magazine. And in the how-lucky-are-we department, the following stories were all pieces that Shawna had been planning to buy before the magazine’s recent cancellation. And it turns out that everyone single one of them was still available for purchase. This didn’t happen last time, so perhaps this a sign of good things to come.
Anyway, I should be contacting artists soon for the February issue and I’ll be sending out contracts in the near future. More news as it develops, and congrats once again to the latest round of winners!
